Find the seven southern challenges, understand early access, and use their rewards for the completion route.
Big Walk has seven purple gourd challenges in the southern part of the island. They are harder variations of familiar puzzles. Polygon reports that you can reach them by chairlift after the Green Tower or by walking around the southeastern coast, so finding one before the main ending is possible. [polygon-purple]
Use the Green Tower’s chairlift route to travel south, or follow the southeastern coastal approach. The purple challenges may not appear on the large map when you first encounter them. Their availability and whether a map currently displays them are different questions. [polygon-purple]
| Challenge | What to watch for |
|---|---|
| Timer | A longer, 30-minute countdown display |
| Golf | Carry the existing heavy ball to the new hole |
| Lights and buttons | Coordinate between separated observation and input rooms |
| Speaker matching | Communicate the sound without the earlier intercom |
| Posing | Describe or gesture the required shape |
| Obstacle course | The timer starts at the beginning of the course |
| Symbol signs | A larger set of 36 signs, including close lookalikes |
These labels identify the challenge types. For exact paths between them, use the location images in Polygon’s purple-challenge guide. This page does not supply an independently surveyed coordinate map. [polygon-purple]
For the speaker challenge, agree on a visible way to represent rhythm or pitch before separating. For similar-looking symbol signs, describe the small differences as well as the overall shape. The challenge is to transfer the clue your team receives, rather than memorize somebody else’s answer.
KeenGamer’s completion route uses seven purple rewards alongside eight remaining red rewards in a separate green collection building near the tutorial/Map Room area. Its 15 receptacles lead to the White Key route. Do not confuse this building with the Green Tower used for the chairlift. [keen-ending]
Keep the collected rewards together and inspect the remaining receptacles if the key does not appear. For the later steps and their major spoilers, open the ending and White Key guide.
If a challenge is inaccessible to a player, the host can enable the official challenge-skip option before starting the session. [faq]
