Steam lists macOS 15, Apple Silicon M1 or newer and 16 GB RAM; the Mac App Store page lists macOS 12.0 or later. Check the requirements for the version you are actually buying. [steam] [mac]

For poor audio on Mac, House House notes that graphics and sound can compete for resources and suggests lowering graphics settings. Wired headphones are another option when troubleshooting a Bluetooth audio setup. Change one thing at a time so you can tell which change helped. [faq]
The App Store lists version 1.5.1 dated August 29, including separate volume controls and a fix for a reset challenge in older saves. The update guide distinguishes this dated store release from the undated official version-history entries. [mac] [history]
