Find the community leaderboard, separate Big Goodbye from Big Game, and compare runs with the same settings.
The Big Walk speedrun leaderboard separates Big Goodbye and Big Game runs, with Unrestricted, Glitched and Glitchless categories. Choose the ending and rule set before comparing times: a result from one category is not a record for all ways of playing. [speedrun]
| Filter | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Ending | Big Goodbye and Big Game have different completion targets |
| Rule set | Unrestricted, Glitched and Glitchless classify different routes |
| Player count | A solo-category entry is not a two-person team result |
| World setting | The leaderboard records player-setting variants where applicable |
| Communication | Runs can distinguish in-game chat from outside communication |
These are community competition categories. The presence of one-player runs does not add an official solo campaign: House House still describes the normal game as cooperative play for 2–12 people. [speedrun] [faq]
Open the Big Walk leaderboard, select your category and player settings, and open an individual run. Compare its recorded platform and communication setting with your planned attempt. Use the board’s Guides and Resources tabs to look for routing and recording material.
The board had 49 submitted runs in the September 7 snapshot. Rankings and category rules can change, so this page links to the live board instead of presenting a single time as a permanent world record. [speedrun]
Before recording a submission, read the selected category’s current rules, especially its start/end timing and allowed assistance. We have not reproduced those rules as a universal checklist because they belong to the category you choose. A route video can illustrate an attempt; it does not replace the moderators’ rules.
For a first playthrough, use the tower walkthrough. For planning ordinary evenings with friends, completion-time averages are more relevant than a speedrun result.
