Check supported modes, one-player-per-system setup, crossplay and mouse controls on Nintendo Switch 2.
Big Walk is available for Nintendo Switch 2. Nintendo lists one player per system and 2–12 online, with TV, tabletop and handheld modes supported. Its online-play listing includes Nintendo Switch Online. [switch]
Use the Switch 2 eShop listing for your account’s region. The US page lists an August 4, 2026 release and a 3.9 GB game file size in the captured snapshot; allow room for later updates as well. The original Nintendo Switch is not named as a supported system. [switch] [faq]
Friends on Windows, Mac or PS5 can join through crossplay. When the host stops playing, the others disconnect; the same host resumes the saved adventure next time. [faq]
House House confirms support for Switch 2’s mouse mode, as well as rebinding through Settings → Rebinding. Try the input mode that lets you point and interact comfortably before entering a precision-heavy challenge. [faq]
Use the in-game voice or text chat for puzzle communication. Both are affected by distance and soundproof walls, and the developer says the full game can be played with text. An external conversation can bypass those restrictions. If several people are playing in the same room, consult the same-room setup guide. [faq]
If a lobby does not connect, recheck the code, password and host’s loaded-world state. Also compare the first two version numbers across devices. The crossplay guide explains that compatibility check without assuming all platforms show the same final patch digit.
